Super Earth TOI 715 b: Potential for Liquid Water and Habitability

GORAJUARA – Some time ago, a kind of extraterrestrial planet called “Super Earth” was discovered.

According to astronomical standards, Super Earth is quite close to us, namely about 137 light years away.

Reported from the science.nasa.gov page by GORAJUARA, this Super Earth is nicknamed TOI 715 b, which is about 1.5 times wider than Earth.

This distance could give the planet the right temperature for liquid water to form on its surface.

Of course, there are several other factors that must align for surface water to exist, especially if it has a suitable atmosphere.

This smaller planet may be only slightly larger than Earth and may also be within the habitable zone that maintains its state.

The host star is a red dwarf, which is smaller and cooler than the Sun.

However, because red dwarfs are smaller and cooler, the planets can gather closer together and remain safely within the star’s habitable zone.

Planet TOI-175 b is on the list of habitable zone planets that can be observed more closely with the Webb telescope, possibly even detecting signs of an atmosphere.

Much depends on the other properties the planet has.

This includes how massive the planet is and whether it can be classified as a “water world”.
