Kelce-Bowl: Now the mother speaks

Saturday, February 11, 6:00 p.m.: A special moment for the Kelce family: With Jason (Eagles) and Travis (Chiefs), two brothers face each other in the Super Bowl. Great honor – and yet not an easy situation for mother Donna. The Kelce matriarch will “probably wear a split jersey on Sunday,” she told People magazine.

“I’ll tell them that I’m rooting for both of them, that I’m proud of them and that I hope their dreams come true,” said Donna Kelce. Jason and Travis can also be happy: “I wrote both letters and I will bring them cookies.”

Whirlwind over Joe Biden interview at Super Bowl

4 p.m.: Will Joe Biden address the nation before the Super Bowl? Not an easy question. It has been unclear for days whether the US President will hold the traditional “Pre-Super Bowl” speech or not. The reason: Biden originally agreed to the Fox speech after speaking to CBS and NBC in previous years.

Fox is said to have asked to cancel the interview, White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre tweeted. Fox is generally considered a conservative broadcaster. The media authority is said to sympathize with Donald Trump.

Rihanna talks Super Bowl halftime show

2 p.m.: Rihanna has released the first details of her Super Bowl LVII halftime show. At a PR appointment, the pop singer first revealed her planned performance, which is being sponsored by tech giant Apple. Rihanna did not talk about possible co-performers and guest appearances (most recently Jay-Z, Drake or Calvin Harris were traded), but gave a rough plan for the first time.

According to this, their show would last almost 13 minutes in the break between the Chiefs game and the Eagles. Fans of the 34-year-old can look forward to the full range of fan service: According to Rihanna’s own statement, the performance should represent a journey of her 17-year career.
