“Sunspot Black Hole on the Sun: Potential for Power Outages Worldwide”

Astronomers have confirmed that a black hole about 4 times the size of the Earth has appeared on the surface of the Sun. According to scientists’ estimates, the hole in question, called the ‘sunspot’, may bring solar winds that can cause power outages worldwide with a 20 percent probability.

It was stated that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in the USA continues to observe the sunspot and will provide information on the subject if they deem it necessary, while it is possible to see the black hole on the Sun with the naked eye from various parts of the world, including some states of the USA.

‘A KIND OF NATURAL PROTECTION’ OCCURRED DUE TO FOREST FIRES

According to the UK’s Daily Mail newspaper, experts underlined that people who want to observe the hole on the Sun’s surface should use protective glasses to protect them from harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays.

On the other hand, experts who share the knowledge that ‘a kind of natural protection has developed’ against the Sun due to forest fires in Canada in certain regions of North America, said that the black hole on the Sun’s surface could be seen with the naked eye in the US states of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Nebraska. He said it was possible to see.

SUNSPOT IS LOCATED LOOKING TO THE WORLD

Sunspots are defined as dark areas on the Sun’s surface that are cooler than other parts. The sunspot called ‘AR3310’, which is stated to be possible to see from the earth with the naked eye, is in a position facing the earth directly.

AR3310 had recently caused an M-1 solar flare that emitted particles of electromagnetic radiation. M-1 coded solar flares, which can reach almost 10 times the size of the Earth, are known as the second-highest type of solar flares of their kind. It is thought that the AR3310 spot could create a second solar flare.

On the other hand, these solar flares can affect the earth only if they occur on the part of the Sun facing the earth.
