“Sunset concerts in Mārupe” is a series of summer concerts that have been taking place in the active recreation park “JIP Mārupīte” for the third year in a row. At the beginning of this season, the usual open – air concert program was replaced by car concerts and drive-in cinema, but with the lifting of the state of emergency, the event organizers returned to the previously usual concept of open-air concerts. This season, concerts are complemented by open-air cinema.

“Sunset concerts in Mārupe” is not just a concert – it is an escape from traffic and noise, an opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere, sunset, live music, of course, not to be missed without various competitions, activities and surprises. Sunset concerts are like a one-night mini-festival. “Feelings” is a word that describes a set of proposed events.

In July, such associations as Ufo and the band, as well as the band, took to the stage of the Sunset concert Queentessence. The performances of Jānis Stībelis, the groups “Linga,” “Pērkons,” “Riga Reggae,” “Eolika” are still expected.
