Sunny Start to the Week with Increasing Clouds and Possible Rain Ahead

The work week starts off sunny and cold in the tri-state area.

However, clouds are expected to increase during Monday afternoon with the possibility of a light drizzle. A new moon will maintain the risk of minor flooding at high tide for coastal communities in Ocean County, New Jersey, through Monday afternoon and evening.

The weather pattern will remain the same through midweek before a storm system approaches on Friday that would lead to the region’s seventh consecutive wet weekend.
