Offenbach (dpa/lhe) – People in Hesse can expect a sunny Pentecost weekend with temperatures up to 26 degrees. On Pentecost Sunday it will be clear across the country, said the German Weather Service (DWD) on Saturday in Offenbach. However, the sun shines more often towards the south than in the rest of the country. The temperatures rise to 21 to 24 degrees in northern Hesse and 24 to 26 degrees in southern Hesse. 19 degrees are expected in the higher mountains. On Monday night it will be mostly clear with lows of between 11 and 7 degrees.
The DWD also expects clear weather and passing clouds on Whit Monday. Temperatures reach a maximum of 20 degrees in the north and 26 degrees in the south. On Tuesday it will be clear and partly sunny with highs between 20 and 24 degrees. Clouds can form at times only in the north.
