The Department of Estimates at the Meteorological Authority stated that “stable weather with northerly winds dominates Lebanon and the eastern basin of the Mediterranean, leading to a rise in daytime temperatures, while the nighttime temperature remains low, especially in the interior regions until Tuesday, when it turns volatile and sometimes rainy.” , warning of “local ice formation on mountain roads of more than 1,200 meters or less in the interior regions, during the night and early morning hours”; Noting that “the average temperature on the coast for the month of February is between 11.4 and 19.2 degrees Celsius.”

And she explained in her evening bulletin, “The expected weather in Lebanon tomorrow, Sunday, will be sunny, with a tangible rise in temperatures, especially in the mountainous and internal areas, which return to their seasonal rates, and the humidity decreases. and below in the Bekaa, during the night and early morning hours of Monday.”

The Department of Estimates pointed out that “the weather is expected to be sunny on Monday, with a continued increase in temperatures that exceed seasonal rates, and it will turn into partly cloudy in the evening, with the formation of fog on the heights.”

And it indicated that “the expected weather, Tuesday, will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with fog at the heights, a significant decrease in temperatures, and occasional local rain, as well as snow at an altitude of 1,500 meters and above.” And she stated that “the weather expected on Wednesday is partly cloudy, with fog on the heights, and a slight rise in temperatures.”

It also added, “The surface winds are from the north to the northeast, with speeds between 8 and 25 km/h, the swelling is good, the relative humidity on the coast is between 35 and 60%, the sea condition is low, the wave height is low, and the water surface temperature is 17 degrees Celsius.”
