The carnival keepers have a hard time this year. No Eurovision Song Contest, no boring evenings, no Groot Veurspel, no parades… and no opportunities to mop along the Dongen pubs for four days.
As an alternative, there are various TV broadcasts to get some fun on the streams of Horeca Dongen and Stichting de Peeënstekers. On Sunday afternoon, this Foundation will broadcast a varied program from 12:00 to 18:00 under the title ‘Peeënrijk turns doorrrr…’ at the time when we normally all stand by the side of the road to enjoy the beautiful creations in the Great Parade.
