1. VfL Potsdam proved once again against HC Elbflorenz that they feel at home anywhere away from home! In the Eastern derby, the Eagles led from the 7th minute and led by 7 goals in the 1st half. In the second half he excelled again. The hosts fought their way to the goal. In the end, however, coach Bob Hanning’s team managed to bring home two points.
In the early stages, the game between VfL Eintracht Hagen and SG BBM Bietigheim was even. However, the visitors managed to score a 5:1 run in the 15th minute and were able to build up a first big lead. From then on, the Bietigheimers never lost the lead and ended up taking home a 26:32 victory. VfL are still waiting for their first home win of the current season.
HSG Nordhorn-Lingen continues its winning streak! In the game against VfL Lübeck-Schwartau, HSG let nothing go in the second half and secured the next victory! Even though the hosts managed to keep pace well in the first half and also built up a 3-goal lead in the process, they had almost no chances in attack after the break. In the end it’s a 26:30 away win for Nordhorn.
Gennadiy Komok of HC Motor Zaporizhzhia showed an outstanding goalkeeping performance that evening. With 21 saves and a 48% save percentage, Wolves Würzburg had little chance of finding their way into the game. Until the 20th minute the two teams were still eye level. However, at the interval, HCM entered the locker room at 15:10 and in the second half, despite a small weak phase in the 40th minute, they didn’t give up their advantage.
