Sunday entertainment in El Prado in the city of La Paz – El Diario

Several national artists were presented on the Senior Adult stage, including the singer-songwriter Pepe Murillo and the folkloric group Hiru Hicho, in the main space they gave the musical note of the Sunday Fair of a thousand colors in El Prado La Paz, had the presence of several municipal authorities at noon on Sunday.
In addition, to round off the music of the Sunday fair, the Canarios del Chaco took to the main stage to the applause of the audience who danced a series of cuecas, chacareras, hidden and cats, so traditional rhythms of the Bolivian Chaco.
Once again the Mille Colori Cultural Fair filled El Prado La Paz with crafts, culture, tradition and large groups that brought together children, young people and adults, promoting a moment of family joy.
The fair also received the visit of the Peruvian consul, Carina Palacios, who visited each stand and highlighted the good work of the craftsmen and the original presentation of their products. Mayor Arias also visited the fair, receiving the affection of the artisans and visitors.
The city councilor for Cultures and Tourism, Rodney Miranda, thanked “the commitment of the artisans to keep the culture alive” and highlighted the innovation of artisan products and the new proposals of street vendors.
More than 400 exhibitors and artists took part in this cultural meeting which takes place in the city on Sundays. The tour included eight spaces intended for different recreational, artistic and entrepreneurial promotion areas.
During the morning the good weather accompanied the event that has been taking place for many years on the main promenade of the city of La Paz.
Sometimes there was a light snowstorm, but the atmosphere was warm and in the midst of the pleasant temperature, adults and children spent a distracted morning, the different offers of crafts and some cravings were within the reach of the present public arriving at the place with the whole family and pets who also love the Sunday walk.
