The Sun Door airline from the El Al group will hold a special pilot during the month of June to encourage sending the trolley to the belly of the plane. Passengers who send the trolley to the belly of the plane receive a $15 gift voucher to redeem on the next flight.
The discount is valid for Sun Dor flights departing from Terminal 1 only, and can be redeemed on the El Al website for bookings until the end of August 2023, for departures until December 2023.
After several airlines recently announced a change in policy and a financial charge for bringing trolleys onto the plane, there will be no change in the baggage policy at Sun Dor. Following this, Sun Dor wants to check whether a benefit for sending the trolley to the belly of the plane (instead of a charge for bringing it up to the cabin) will lead to the desired result of reducing the load and avoiding delays during the flight.
Sun Dor from the El Al group operates regular flights to a variety of holiday destinations at attractive prices, in the upcoming summer season: Naples, Thessaloniki, Larnaca, Paphos, Istanbul, Ljubljana, Zagreb, Porto, Sharm el-Sheikh, Tbilisi and Tivat (Montenegro). El Al’s frequent flyer members accumulate and redeem points on Sun Dor flights as well. It is also possible to combine El Al and Sun Dor destinations. The flights are sold on the El Al website and at the travel agents.
