Wither is the second strongest boss monster in the world of Minecraft after The Warden which recently appeared in the Minecraft 1.19 update. Unlike other boss monsters, Wither doesn’t appear on its own. Instead, players must make their own Wither which they will later fight. The unique method used to summon Wither is to collect some predefined blocks.

Most players choose to summon a Wither in an open area to make it easier to escape from a Wither that has the ability to fly. The presence of several other monsters in the area will be an additional bonus for players, considering Wither is also an enemy to other monsters (except the undead).

To collect sand or soul soil blocks, you must first create a Netrer Portal to go to the Nether Dimension. Usually sand or soul soil is formed in soul san valley and nether wastes biomes. In Overworld, you can also find soul sand blocks in the Ancient City, just below the portal-like structure.

How to Get Wither Skeleton Skulls

1. Use the Nether portal to go to the Nether dimension.

2. Look for the Nether Fortress (a large black structure consisting of a tower, bridge, and passageway).

3. Look for the Wither Skeleton which is the black variant of the Overworld Skeletons. They are very aggressive and very strong.

4. When you have defeated the Wither Skeleton, you will get the Wither Skeleton Skulls item. Since the chances of getting this item are small, you may have to defeat dozens of Wither Skeletons to get the item you are looking for. Use the loot sword enhancement to increase the chances of getting Wither Skeleton Skulls.

Summoning Wither in Minecraft

1. Find an open place that will make it easier for you when fighting Wither. It’s best to do this away from the Minecraft house because Wither can easily destroy blocks.

2. Place the soul sand or soul soil block on the ground. Next, place the next block on top of the first block to form a tower-like structure.

3. Next, put the blocks on the right and left of the top block stack to form the letter T.

4. Finally, place three Wither Skeleton Skulls on top of each T-shaped block. After you place the Wither Skeleton Skulls, the Withers will come immediately.
