New York’s popular SummerStage festival returns to full capacity this year with some 90 free concerts – headlining as is tradition in famed Central Park – beginning June 11 with a performance by legendary jazz pianist and composer Herbie Hancock, its organizers announced today.
The concerts will also be presented in twelve other neighborhood parks in the five boroughs of the city and also include dance performances, films and art workshops, according to a statement from the City Parks Foundation.
