Major movements are planned for this Friday and Saturday throughout France, with consequently longer travel times. Traffic will be heavy on most major southbound or coastal routes across the country. The roads will also be loaded in the southwest and the Rhône-Alpes region.
Also note heavy traffic, in the direction of Italy via the Mont-Blanc tunnel throughout the weekend with periods ROUGE on the N205 this Friday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. according to Bison Futé.

In Île-de-France, traffic will be loaded towards the toll gates of the A10 and A6 motorways. It will be very difficult on the A63 in the Bordeaux – Bayonne direction between the end of the morning and the beginning of the afternoon.
Saturday July 22. In the direction of departures, traffic will be very difficult at the national level with a classified day ROUGE, in particular on the A7, A9, A10 and A63 motorways. In Île-de-France, traffic will be heavy from the start of the morning towards the toll gates of the A10 and A6 motorways.
Sunday July 23:
The day is categorized as VERT in both directions of traffic. Despite everything in this summer period, denser traffic than usual will be felt on a good part of the main roads.

Forecast July and August 2023
In the forecasts established by Bison Futé, Saturday July 29 will be classified as ROUGE in the direction of departures. The most complicated day is scheduled for Saturday August 5th. The famous crossover of vacationers. That day will be NOIR. Saturday August 12 will be ROUGE in the direction of departures. Then a large traffic is looming in the direction of returns with a flag ROUGE for Saturdays August 19 and 26. Saturday September 2 always in the direction of return will be in ORANGE.
