“Summer Sound 2023”
This weekend, the Baltic’s largest beach festival “Summer Sound 2023” took place magnificently over the course of two days with performances by more than forty domestic and foreign musicians, setting yet another attendance record. The exact number of the festival organizers is not yet known, but it certainly exceeds the 40,000 guests reached last year.
The artists on the main stage of the second night of the festival were neighboring countries – Estonia’s brightest talent of recent times NOËP, homegrown hip-hop master Gustavo, the forever young Good Guy, whose performance was epic, festival visitors of all ages sang and danced along during the hour-long concert, and one of the most sought-after artists in the world at the moment German DJ Felix Jaehn.
On the other stages of the festival, in “Flor De Cana” on the beach and in Jūrmala park – “Mežpils” and “Extravaganza”, no less bright and exciting performances were given by a number of local and foreign talented musicians: Ewert And The Two Dragons, The Sudden Lights, ZEĞGIS, Ozols .
In the club “Klubs ++” DJ sets were performed by the new generation of Latvian DJs as well as experienced and popular masters.
During the day, as usual, there was a Volleyball tournament, movie screenings in the Cinema Tent, a festival market, a Children’s Town and many other entertainment options that allow visitors to create the best summer adventure as they see fit.
Without delaying next year’s plans, the festival organizers are ready to reveal next year’s dates – “Summer Sound 2024” will take place on August 2 and 3, on the always beautiful beach in Liepāja.
