The children were particularly spoiled this summer with two large-scale operations organized especially for them: Cap Mômes and Yaka’Venir à Espalion.
Organized for the first time in Espalion, Cap Mômes was a huge success: 1,200 children on the first day dedicated to the leisure centres, 3,200 visitors the next day. It is true that this exceptional event which mobilizes 150 volunteers does not skimp on the means with 16 companies which gave 36 performances, in a magnificent setting.
Laughter, smiles, joy, stars in the children’s eyes. The organizers can be proud of this success and everyone is looking forward to the next two editions to be held in Espalion in 2024 and 2025.
In a different register, the Yaka’Venir à Espalion operation offered 15 free events which were spread over a month, straddling July and August.
Shows, workshops, visits, games… Culture, sport, leisure, reflection: there was something for all tastes and for various ages, with adults even taking part in certain events.
The holidays are coming to an end, but everyone will keep the best memories of a great 2023 vintage for which we must thank the organizers, the volunteers and all those who give them their support.
