Summer Music Competition Winner Takes Home Big Prizes

Fulda (fp) – In collaboration with Spotlight Musicals, City Marketing Fulda once again organized a competition with great prizes for the musical summer. The winners had to go on a kind of scavenger hunt through the shops in Fulda city center to find letters scattered there, create a puzzle from them and then submit it. Four lucky winners were selected from all entries. They received their awards on Saturday at Hohmanns Brauhaus.

Birgit Reuter, Sigrid Munnich, Mirko Freisinger and Yves Weiske were chosen by City Marketing from almost 12,000 people and received great prizes for their participation in the competition. These include hotel vouchers from four different hotels in Fulda including music tickets, vouchers for various shops in the city, a gift basket, watches and other ingredients such as schnapps and liqueurs.

The campaign was a huge success, said Felix Wessling, the first chairman of City Marketing, at the relaunch: “It’s a good story and very good for Fulda.” City Marketing was organizing the competition for the twelfth time. This year, 20,000 flyers were printed and distributed, Wessling said: “It was well received and we got a lot of feedback from retailers.” 25 local shops and four hotels took part in the campaign and gave away vouchers and gifts at the prices. “It’s great, we see that people want to do something in the center of the city,” said the head of marketing of the city with pleasure, looking at the many guests at the concerts.

In addition to the award presentation, the winners and their families were treated to hospitality at Hohmanns Brauhaus and a small champagne reception. Participating stores were: Modehaus Schneider, Kolpingrestaurant, Die Brille, Neusehland, Mode Franc, Havanna Bar, Nicolissma, Hodes Schuhe, Ladencafé, Moretti, RegioPoint, dm, Catwalk, Juwelier Bott, Biothesque hairdresser, Modehaus Schneider, Köhliemen ‘ clothing , Loft 5, Reinholz Coffee Roastery: Finca Fulda, Restaurant Ritter, Café Glück, Pharmacy at Heertor, Schuhhaus Vogler and Brewery Hohmann. The four hotels were: Hotel Platzhirsch, Kloster Frauenberg, Hotel Fulda Mitte and Altstadthotel Arte.
