From June 26th to September 12th 2020 in and around the historic Kursalon Hübner a unique gastronomic concept for every taste.
For those who spend their vacation in the city this year is already the first green refuge – and not just to escape the heat: “Summer in the Park” attracts with cool beats, live acts, culinary delights and ice-cold cocktails the Wiener Stadtpark.
On the approximately 2400 square meter terrace and parking area in and around the Kursalon Hübner, ten gastronomy pavilions provide guests with special and distinctive creations, from Asian to Italian, from sweet to spicy, from omnivorous to vegan. Delicious sushi chocolates, hearty burgers or truffle bratwurst from bison, every taste is served and rounded off with fine Austrian wines. Whether casual brunch or lunch, a cool sun-downer at Vienna’s most beautiful sun spot or an exquisite dinner in the park – everything is possible!
“With ‘Summer in the Park’ we want to present something completely new and very special to the Viennese public this year, which will be talked about for a long time. With the coherent overall concept of carefully selected gastronomy, contemporary music and a touch of glamor, we want to set fresh impulses as well as the high demands of an urban clientele, ”explains Josip Susnjara, CEO Kursalon Hübner.
The eleven best bars
In addition to the culinary delights, the eleven best bars from Vienna and Linz serve refreshing summer drinks each for a week as part of a cooperation with the cocktail festival “Liquid Market”.
The culinary offerings range from exclusive worlds of pleasure from Domaines Kilger to traditional restaurateurs such as Trześniewski, Asian specialties from Lonas, burgers from Hell’s Kitchen and vegan delicacies from Venuss to trendy representatives of the Austrian bar scene such as Sign Lounge, Eberts Bar or Ms. Dietrich from Linz .
“Summer in the Park” not only creates a new, urban hotspot for a culinary enthusiast, but also an important platform for the crisis-ridden local gastronomy and event scene.
