The summer holidays will start for the central region on Friday. After this week’s changing weather, holidaymakers in their own country will have to deal with a completely different type of weather this weekend. This Wednesday, the Netherlands has to deal with a stormy weather. Summer storm Poly is moving across the country. This is accompanied by very strong gusts of wind (100 to 130 km/h) in a large part of the country. The next few days will be a lot quieter and the temperature will rise considerably.
On Friday, when the summer holidays for the Central region start, it will be sunny summer weather. The wind turns to the east and brings warm and dry air to our country. On a large scale it will be 27-31 degrees.
Tropical weekend, but also showers
The temperature will rise even further on the weekend. On Saturday it will be tropically warm with maxima between 28 and 33 degrees. The sun shines brightly at first and this makes it perfect weather for a day at the beach. In the course of the afternoon, the clouds will increase followed by a few showers.
