From Friday, the weather picture looks good for holidaymakers in their own country. It will remain dry from the weekend and the sun will shine brightly. It will therefore be warmer with summer temperatures of 25 degrees and more from Sunday. The first few days there is no question of beautiful summer weather and there is a lot of rain, especially in the east and southeast, with locally 80 to 100 millimeters in Limburg and locally even slightly more.
Thursday afternoon the sun is already breaking through in more and more places in the west and starting Friday it is almost everywhere dry and often sunny. Highs are expected on Friday of 20 degrees at the sea and 23 in the east. Saturday will be warmer with 21 to 26 degrees locally and Sunday maximums of up to 27 degrees are possible in the east and southeast.
Great chance of warm summer weather next week
The chance of warmer weather than usual next week is quite high. Afternoon temperatures are between 23 and 29 degrees and this is a great prospect for holidaymakers in their own country. The first few days the sun shines strongly and is the most dry. It is therefore excellent beach and pool weather and the barbecue is ready again. The chance of showers will increase again later in the week.
Pay close attention to the sun power, because with sun power 7 or 8 it is very high. The unprotected skin can burn after 10 to 15 minutes. So apply well when you are outside.
Until Thursday in the southeast soaking wet
Before that, there will be a lot of rain in the east until Thursday, but especially in the southeast rainwater and locally it can also thunder. In parts of Limburg, an entire monthly sum can fall by 80 to 100 millimeters in a few days. In the south of Limburg, even more than 100 millimeters is possible. In the rest of the country it is a lot drier, but the clouds dominate. The temperature rises to 19 to 24 degrees locally. You can read more about the rain here.
