The summer is not over in Eastern Norway and Southern Norway – the whole week will be well over 20 degrees, according to the meteorologists.

After a wet and cool August, the summer heat is back in full force. Over 20 degrees are forecast for the whole week.
– It can almost seem unreal, says on-duty meteorologist Rafael Escobar Løvdahl at the Meteorological Institute Tønsbergs Blad.
Monday can offer over 25 degrees in Southern and Eastern Norway.
– Between 20 and 25 degrees, maybe even a little higher in the first days of the week. A little further on in time, it looks like there will be a dry period with high temperatures. If you saved a few holiday days from last summer when the weather wasn’t so good, it might be good to take these days in the next couple of weeks, he says.
Colleague Martin Granerød speaks The daily newspaper that the forecasts are fairly certain for the first few days ahead.
– With temperatures of around 25 degrees at the hottest and long periods of sunshine, Southern and Eastern Norway seem to be the weather winners in the coming week, he says.
– And even if it won’t be completely cloudless from time to time, it will be great late summer weather, says the meteorologist.
Sewage discharge in Alnaelva has led to poor bathing water quality in several places in Oslo. But otherwise in the Oslofjord or further south it should be perfectly possible to take a dip in the next few days.
