Summer flight schedule commences at Leipzig/Halle and Dresden airports

Leipzig/Halle and Dresden airports are starting their summer flight schedules with some new destinations.

The destinations Faro (Portugal) and Chania (Greece) have been added in Leipzig/Halle, according to Mitteldeutsche Flughafen AG. The summer timetable is valid from March 26th to October 28th.

Up to 206 flights per week are to take off from Leipzig/Halle Airport during this period.

Overall, the summer timetable from Leipzig/Halle includes connections to 25 destinations in eleven countries, including the holiday regions of Fuerteventura, Rhodes and Mallorca.

Up to 112 flights a week will take off from Dresden Airport. According to the summer timetable, 20 destinations in ten countries are to be served, including destinations in Greece, Spain and Turkey.

According to the information, Dresden Airport had 841,500 passengers last year, and around 1.5 million in Leipzig/Halle.
