Mid-August is approaching: from the mountains to the lakes, from the city to the Bassa, the key month of summer entertainment events is getting more and more alive.
On the upcoming weekend, that of 5 and 6 August, on Lake Garda all eyes are focused on the port of Rivoltella, with four days of great fun with the Lake and Guest Festival, one of the most awaited events of the whole tourist season. Moving a few kilometres, in Manerba it’s time for ManerBeer: five evenings to the rhythm of music by the best Tribute Bands; beer and food stands with fried dumplings and salami, grilled porchetta, fried calamari, grilled salamelle with polenta and much more. In the Bassa, on the other hand, the San Fermo festival is scheduled in Pontevico: every year, in addition to delicious local cuisine, the district festival offers beautiful fireworks and lots of live music; upon reservation, it will also be possible to enjoy the spit, the porchetta and the delicious grilled chicken.
Not just goodies. On Lake Iseo there is the Ferris wheel of Lovere, 25 meters high and with an enchanting view of the upper lake and Valcamonica. In Desenzano, however, great fun with the historic Luna Park, a real amusement park of 20 thousand square meters, capable of involving everyone, children, families, young people and local associations. Finally, for those in the mood for shopping, “A Dive into the Past” is back on the Marconi di Paratico lakefront, the market with lots of stalls selling antiques, crafts and creativity.
