Summer Dance CAMP PontÔ’ Afro Kop 2023
The MJC Boris Vian of Pontault Combault is today very present in the field of urban arts and contemporary music in connection with youth (15/25 years old) and has a network of partners (amateur and professional companies in the Ile-de-France region) and animates and accompanies groups of young artists from the city and surrounding areas.
The MJC Vian also has the know-how and resources that allow it to carry out actions and events in connection with the inhabitants of the city. By intervening outside the walls, the MJC wishes to allow young people from the neighborhoods of the City to share animation times around the arts and to be able to share a common project. For Summer 2023, the MJC Boris Vian wishes to participate in the animation of the summer of its territory by proposing to the inhabitants to discover the artistic universe Afro Dance, Dance Kpop. The MJC will intervene in different districts of the city through initiation and creation workshops, the work of which will be presented at the end of the day in the district and at the end of the week on the stage of the Pont Ô L’Eté festival.
The SUMMER Dance CAMP PontÔ Afro, Kop 2023 offers two highlights on Saturday July 8 and Tuesday July 11, 2023 in 2 different districts of the city L’Ocile and Aimé Césaire. At the end of the week on Thursday, July 13, 2023 on the stage of the Parc de l’hôtel de ville, a time of restitution presenting the work of the inhabitants of the 2 districts will be offered on the occasion of a choreographic meeting bringing together other dance companies. Hip Hop from Ile-de-France. The inhabitants of the 2 districts will have the opportunity to present a choreography in common The proposal of the MJC:
1- Saturday, July 8, Place de Louis Aragon (near the OCIL district) 10 a.m. 12 p.m. Afro dance workshop with Sven Lesorea (Afro Jiz Emmerainville 77 company)
3 p.m.-5 p.m. Kpop dance workshop with Jodie and Sofauni, Risin Crew company Bsee V (Champigny/94) 5:15 p.m. Presentation of a Hip Hop dance creation by the “Yudat School” company
2 – Tuesday July 11 Square Aimé Césaire (between Condorcet College and Camille Claudel High School) 10 a.m. 12 p.m. Sven Lesorea dance workshop (Afro Jiz Emerainville 77 company)
3pm-5pm Kpop dance workshop with Jodie and Sofauni company Risin Crew Bsee V (Champigny/94)
5:15 p.m. Presentation of a Hip Hop Dance creation by the “Légion Académie” Company
