Not only are we in our most airy summer dress drinking iced coffee today, temperatures in New York City are also rising to well above 30 degrees this week. Time to see how Duchess Meghan keeps it summer chic during her visit to the Big Apple.
Royal repeat
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan visited New York City on Monday to mark Mandala Day. Harry gave a speech at the United Nations and, as we are used to from the Sussex, was assisted by his loving wife.
The Duchess of Sussex dressed elegantly and minimalistically in a two-piece from Givenchy. One that we still recognize from her royal wardrobe. Meghan wore the exact same pencil skirt and top in green during her royal visit to Ireland in 2018. She hasn’t forgotten her royal style!

Although we often spot Meghan in a new outfit, the Duchess also see that she keeps everything well kept in her (undoubtedly gigantic) walk-in closet. The handbag she had with her in New York, she has had since her days as a Suits-actress.
In shorts
For lunch with girlfriend, feminist, activist and journalist Gloria Steinem, Meghan opted for a different light-hearted look.
The Duchess combines a simple pair of smart shorts with a white blouse and matching accessories in cognac. In our opinion, a wonderful example of summer chic!

Paparazzi footage shows Meghan and Harry dressed on Monday night, while visiting an Italian restaurant (view the photos here via Hello!). The Duchess of Sussex wears a white and black jumpsuit that reminds us very much of a jumpsuit and dress that Queen Máxima and Duchess Kate have hanging in the closet. Again: Meghan is her royal style not forgotten!
The visit to New York marks the first public trip Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have taken after their brief appearance at Queen Elizabeth’s jubilee last month. Now that the Sussexes no longer have a royal agenda, the question is when we can take another look at Meghan’s summer wardrobe.
