In April, a new season of “Sommerhytta” kicks off on TV 2, where four participant couples will go through ten intense weeks of cabin renovation, competitions and challenges.
This time the extensive cottage project will take place at Myllatunet in Nordmarka in Lunner municipality. And in the end, only a couple will be left with their own summer cottage.

New for the season this year is also the presenter. This year’s season will be led by Cathrine Fossum (45), after Guri Solberg (45) passed on the baton after six seasons.
These are the new participants:
Eli Rebekka Haugen (24) and Benjamin Martinsen (25)
Relationship: Boyfriends and cohabitants.
Residence: Lives in Oslo. Eli is from Trondheim and Benjamin is from Drøbak.
Eli studies graphic design and works as a waiter, while Benjamin runs his own graphic design company with a friend.
Eli and Benjamin have been together for two and a half years, and met when they were both studying media design in Volda. In terms of style, the couple prefers a good mix of new and old.
Herman Winger Ramm (32) and Petter Nohr (33)
Relationship: Best friends.
Residence: Oslo
Herman is a creator and copywriter in an advertising agency and Petter works as an administration coordinator.
Herman and Petter have been best friends for 13 years, and Petter is godfather to Herman’s children. The couple have a lot of friendship for each other.
In terms of style, Petter focuses on coziness with a rich selection of blankets and decorations, while Herman is more daring and resilient with lots of colour.
Leona Halset Williams (27) and Håvard Skille Midtgård (23)
Relationship: Boyfriends and cohabitants.
Residence: Drammen.
Leona is a kindergarten teacher and Håvard is a kitchen salesman. Leona and Håvard have known each other for seven years and been lovers for three years. They are a couple with a lot of energy who enjoy physical activity and have a strong competitive instinct.
In terms of style, they have a mix of modern and classic style, warm and natural. They like to combine different materials and colors.
Heidi Stangordert (28) and Patrick Gjertsen Hernæs (27)
Relationship: Boyfriends and cohabitants.
Residence: Hamar.
Both work in kindergartens, Patrick as educational leader and Heidi as subject leader.
Heidi and Patrick are a new and newly in love couple with a lot of emotions. In terms of style, the couple is fascinated by the interior style from the 1970s, and has a lot of second-hand furniture from this period at home. In the cabin, they envision panels, possibly in light pastel colours.
The presenter is Cathrine Fossum, and the three experts are garden expert Finn Schjøll, interior designer Aina Sollie Steen and carpenter Lars Fossum.
When it became known that Fossum would take over the baton for the seventh season, she did not hide that she was looking forward to using her personality in the “Sommerhytta” job:
– I love meeting and getting to know new people, and often empathize with how others feel. Both in joys and sorrows and everything. And this is a program where I get to know the participants well. So being both a fellow human being and a presenter, I’m really looking forward to that. It’s also very nice that no one gets voted out, because then we can just enjoy ourselves.
