Summary of 10 Cool Features on Windows 11 Big Update 22H2 (Sun Valley 2) What’s Cool Added?

It arrived with the first major update for Windows 11 After almost a full year If anyone is already Windows savvy, you might be a little confused that Microsoft normally likes to split big updates into 2 rounds per year, isn’t it (e.g. 21H1 and 21H2 is the end of the year 2021) . ? 11 does not have the first half-yearly release coming out (it goes from 21H2 to 22H2), which you can guess in 2 cases is probably because Windows 11 is still new or Microsoft only set it up once a year. (not confirmed yet)

But wherever new things have come, we will come to hone some of the great features to look at. Let’s just say that even though it’s a big update, don’t expect much to see a lot of great features like that. Because Microsoft’s style tends to release new stuff with small updates. But at least this 22H2 will have 10 core features that a lot of people have been waiting for. Which should be called arousal and a lot of appetite, including:

Many people already know about the properties that have helped their working life much better since the Windows 10 era, but suddenly on Windows 11 you have eliminated it. Therefore a new functionality cannot be defined. Instead, call it the return of the greatest feature. We can now drag files from any app window or folder onto the taskbar to make it easier to link to other open windows, no longer need to manually press add from the program menu or minimize the window and then drag and drop it.

It’s another killer feature I’ve wanted to do for a long time. It will be convenient to use, similar to the Android and iOS mobile side.Previously, Microsoft had updated to once add a layout split to the Start menu, able to adjust the row to show the app stuck in 3 types, but for some people. The size has increased from 3 to 4 rows and is still not enough. This time, you can arrange the group apps as you like. Also, you can enter as many apps as you want. You can name the folder yourself. And it will show the number of apps as 4 × 3, if higher than that, it will scroll down inside the folder again.

It’s another one it was able to do on Windows 10, but then blown away like drag and drop. Called only without these 2, it made people go back to Windows 10 without hesitation. which eventually came back Also, this time it’s not normal. You can now preview the program icon or the file icon. Originally, only images and videos could be previewed. It is a bit different from Windows 10 in that it used to be able to preview 3 files at a time, now it only remains to show one file. (Get the last file)

The File Explorer menu bar was originally the top quick access menu. That when you lock a folder, it will show up under this. But the new update will instead change the location of Quick Access to the home page and capture Quick Access and Recents within it. When you lock the folder, it will remain in Quick Access as before, but when it appears in the menu bar, it will instead be moved to the center box. There is also a dividing line from other menus, which makes navigation easier.

A new category has also been added, Favorites, so we can right click Add to Favorites as a file or folder you like. This will also break into another submenu on the home page. The next update claims that it will add a lock feature to files in addition to folders. Which will arrive with a new patch this October.
