Sumar por Murcia Coalition Proposes Measures to Combat Rising Cost of Living

The list leader of the Sumar por Murcia coalition, Javier Sánchez Serna, has as a recipe against the rising cost of living the application of the housing law “against abusive rent increases”, the introduction of a social bond for those in need to be able to pay mortgage loans and the establishment of a basket of basic products “ enabling groceries at a reduced price so that they are not an unaffordable luxury for families”.

The third factor driving up the cost of living, according to Sánchez Serna’s analysis, is the increase in shopping basket prices.

Sumar proposes to solve this problem by introducing a basket of basic products “that allows buying groceries at a reduced price so that they do not become a luxury that families cannot afford”. In conclusion, list leader Sumar declared that “these types of measures to improve people’s lives” make the difference “to a right that only talks about destroying everything that has been achieved in four years and engages in the discourse of hate set up”.
