Yesterday, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Sultan of Oman, visited the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, as part of His Majesty’s state visit to the United Arab Emirates. He was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Presidential Court, and Head of the honorary delegation that accompanied the country’s chief guest.
The visit of the Sultan of Oman and the delegation to the mosque included the tomb of the late founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, remembering his global humanitarian legacy and the way – his wise work in promoting the values of communication, knowledge and coexistence among people and cultures of the world.
His Highness and the delegation, together with Dr Yousef Al Obaidli, Director General of the Sheikh Zayed Mosque Centre, were briefed on the halls and corridors of the mosque, as well as its civil role in promoting a culture of -persistence and openness to others. , inspired by the values of the founder Sheikh Zayed, may God have mercy on him, as well as the atmospheric arts and architecture that characterize the mosque.
