Authority Russia disclose the alleged cause of the fighter jet crash Sukhoi Su-34 hit an apartment building in Yeysk, near the border Ukraine. At least 13 people, including three children, died in the fatal accident.
As reported AFPOn Tuesday (10/18/2022), Russian investigators interrogated the fighter pilot, who managed to eject and escape by parachute, before the fighter jet crashed into a nine-story apartment building in Yeysk on Monday (17 / 10) evening local time to light a fire.
About 19 other people were injured, including four in critical condition. Two of the critically ill victims were reportedly a 5-year-old girl and a teenager.

The Russian investigation commission that initiated an investigation into the incident cited a “technical malfunction” as a suspected cause.
The Russian investigation commission said it had launched a criminal investigation into alleged violations of aviation regulations related to the incident. The Russian investigative commission also “seized fuel samples at the departure airport” and “flight footage of the crash site”.
The Russian Defense Ministry said the fighter crashed into an apartment building that housed around 600 people during a training flight.
“The pilots who managed to deport, as well as the airport staff, were interrogated,” said investigators from the Russian Investigation Commission.
