And Rocksteady is confirming more characters and other material after the May release.
Yesterday we got another State of Play show from Playstation, and one game that got a lot of space was Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The premise of the game is that Brainiac has brainwashed the Justice League and turned them evil, meaning it falls to four villains to save the world by killing them.
Yesterday’s gameplay video pits the gang against The Flash, who locked Lex Luthor in a container and then made the container part of a giant cannon… Anyway, acrobatic jumps are a big part of the game mechanics, and all characters take move around and fight in their own ways.
A look at the pause menu also confirms the earlier leak that the game will have a shop and battle pass, and Rocksteady assures that the battle pass only includes cosmetic items. Furthermore, the game will continue to receive new content after the May 26 release, including new playable characters and weapons.
