Suge Knight, the co-founder and former CEO of Death Row Records, has raised concerns about whether Snoop Dogg fraudulently purchased the iconic gangsta rap label. Although Snoop acquired Death Row in February 2022 through MNRK Music Group, Knight claimed that Michael “Harry-O” Harris committed bankruptcy fraud to obtain the company from him. Although Snoop was not involved in the bankruptcy case, Knight believes his former signee was able to acquire the label because it was forfeited when a lawyer failed to attend court. In an interview with TMZ from prison, Knight claimed that Death Row would never truly be the same without him in charge. Despite thanking MNRK for making the deal a reality, Snoop Dogg’s ownership of the label remains in doubt due to Knight’s allegations.
