Under the restriction in South Korea, Suga went into quarantine after taking the test and thus has not come into contact with other BTS members, the statement added.
Suga has no symptoms as of Friday and is currently doing the “home treatment” according to the country’s health guidelines, BIGHIT Music said.
The singer is fully vaccinated, having two doses of the covid-19 vaccine and tested negative before leaving the U.S. The company added that it will provide full support for Suga’s speedy recovery while cooperating with the authorities of Health.
The BTS members have had a long vacation after wrapping up their scheduled events from their ‘BTS Permission to Dance on Stage – LA’ and the ‘2021 Jingle Ball Tour,’ according to BIGHIT Music.
South Korea has ordered all international travelers, including Korean citizens, to self-quarantine for ten days, regardless of their vaccination status.
