– Suffered injuries after he died

KARMØY (Dagbladet): The police investigation after 32-year-old Espen Simonsen was found dead in his home in Skudeneshavn on Karmøy, is still in full swing. The death was initially described as suspicious, but the cause of death has not been determined.

The deceased was found with several injuries on the body, and the police believe that these were not self-inflicted. On Thursday, the police will provide new details about the discovery.

– One hypothesis is that the deceased is exposed to corpse desecration, since we believe the injuries cannot be self-inflicted, says police inspector in the Sør-West police district, Unni Malmin, to Dagbladet.
