Sueños, el Musical: Educational Resources to Deepen the Experience Beyond Theater

The experience of ‘Dreams, the Musical’ It goes beyond theater. For this reason, the Youth Ministry of Salesians Santiago el Mayor has prepared a series of “resources, for formal and non-formal education, that aim to equip those who—after working on them—will be able to enjoy the new musical that, on the occasion of the bicentennial of the dream of the nine years of Don Bosco, our Province is producing.”

Although they are distributed by age and environment (school and youth center), they are “interchangeable” and can be extrapolated to parishes, social platforms and other Salesian realities.

“From an educational-pastoral perspective, it is worth preparing for the experience of enjoying ‘Sueños, el Musical’ live. With these resources we aim to ensure that we, kids and educators, do not ‘go with what we have on’ to the theater, but rather have first been able to delve deeper into the life of Don Bosco, so that when the selected songs are played, they touch our hearts and help us discover that there is ‘a dream for you,'” Xabier Camino, delegate of Youth Ministry, says in a statement.

Jesús Manuel Gallardo Nieto, Salesian educator, has been in charge of developing “with so much love and creativity these resources that will surely inspire us in our pastoral work as Salesian educators.”
