JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Bukalapak.com responded to the lawsuit filed by PT Harmas Jalesveva against it for acts against the law.
This civil suit was registered at the South Jakarta District Court (PN) on March 24, 2021 with case number 294 / Pdt.G / 2021 / PN JKT.SEL.
In the lawsuit, Harmas asked the court to sentence him Bukalapak to pay for material losses of Rp. 90.32 billion.
VP of Legal, Public Policy, & Regulatory Affairs Bukalapak, Perdana Arning Saputro said that his party had never used Harmas’s services. On the other hand, Harmas has an obligation to Bukalapak.
“Bukalapak does not use the services of PT Harmas Jalesveva. However, PT Harmas Jalesveva still has obligations that need to be fulfilled towards Bukalapak, “said Perdana in his statement, Friday (26/3/2021).

He stated that Bukalapak would seek to obtain its rights and respond to the lawsuit in accordance with applicable legal procedures.
“For that, we emphasize that we will make efforts to obtain our rights and carry out legal procedures in accordance with the corridors of law in force in Indonesia,” said Perdana.
Previously, in this case apart from Bukalapak, Harmas with his attorney named Muhammad Syukur Mandar, also sued PT Leads Property Services Indonesia.
In their petitum, the plaintiff asked the panel of judges to sentence Bukalapak to pay material losses of Rp. 90.32 billion. Then punished Leads Property to return the consulting fee for marketing services worth Rp. 3.12 billion.
In addition, Harmas asked the court to sentence Bukalapak and Leads Property jointly to pay immaterial losses and other losses of Rp. 77.50 billion.

The plaintiff also asked the court to confiscate Bukalapak’s shares amounting to 75 percent of the total share value accumulatively as collateral for the verdict of this case.
Then ask the panel of judges to state legally and bind that Bukalapak is unable to pay off the debt for Harmas rights worth Rp. 165.82 billion, if Bukalapak is negligent and does not implement the verdict in this case.
Harmas also asked the court to sentence Bukalapak to pay forced money of Rp. 100 million per day, starting from the time the verdict was pronounced until Bukalapak gave up collateral in the form of its shares and completed all the obligations demanded and decided in this case.
