Aircraft Jetstar this time it made the passengers annoyed to the top. This holiday season, a compact plane is going to Bali but it failed.
The Perth-Denpasar Jetstar flight was supposed to fly on Sunday (3/7) at 06.50 local time. But right at midnight before departure, the passenger received an unexpected message from the airline.
Reported from Australian News, Monday (4/7/2022) the message contained flight cancellations for operational reasons. This obviously made the 186 passengers who were supposed to fly panic.
The message, which was deemed callous, forced all passengers to reschedule their flights. When I tried rescheduling, it turned out that the next flight was only available on July 12. Meanwhile, on that date, the holiday season is almost over.
Anger, disappointed, annoyed mixed in the hearts of the passengers who failed to fly. They had to be willing to unpack their suitcases and spend the winter.
“This is the time we’ve been waiting for. They’re ruining people’s holidays,” said the Summers family, one of the passengers who canceled their flight to Bali.
The family has criticized the airline for its highly unethical cancellation.
“We worked hard to go on vacation and their actions were callous,” he explained.
This family has already spent USD 14,000 or around Rp. 209 million. They not only lose on plane tickets but also hotels and other accommodations in Bali.
“It has a huge effect. We can’t just reorder, it’s not that simple,” he said.
This flight cancellation did not only occur from Perth-Denpasar but also the opposite route. Thus making 162 passengers from Bali had to delay returning to Perth.
