NEW YORK — Three people were injured in a sudden stabbing and slashing incident that erupted Tuesday in Brooklyn.
The injuries occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m., when police received a call of a person being stabbed. The stabbing took place near 340 Roebling Street in the Williamsburg section of the county. The victim, identified as a 36-year-old man, was stabbed in the neck.
According to reports, two other victims were also stabbed at the scene. The other injured man was identified as a 45-year-old man, who sustained cuts to his face and back. The 27-year-old woman was stabbed in the wrist. Both were transported to Methodist Hospital in stable condition, according to the NYPD.
No arrests have been made at this time. The motive behind the violence was not clarified.
