“Sudden Ligts” is preparing for the Eurovision semi-finals in Great Britain

The group “Sudden Lights” left the international airport “Riga” for Great Britain on April 28, where they will represent Latvia in the 67th international Eurovision Song Contest.

In these days, the first two rehearsals on the big stage have already been held, as well as a meeting with Latvians from Great Britain.

The group “Sudden Lights” with the song “Aijā” became the winners of the LTV song contest “Supernova 2023” live on February 11, getting the opportunity to represent Latvia in the 67th international Eurovision Song Contest.

The group will perform in the first semi-final on May 9, where Norway, Malta, Serbia, Portugal, Ireland, Croatia, Switzerland, Israel, Moldova, Sweden, Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, Netherlands and Finland will also participate. The second semi-final of Eurovision will be held on May 11, the final – on May 13.

The group “Sudden Lights” consists of vocalist Andrejs Reinis Zitmanis, guitarist Kārlis Matīss Zitmanis, percussionist Mārtiņš Matīss Zemītis and guitarist Kārlis Vārtiņš.
