Sudden Evidence Appears in Boeing MN-17 Crash

The Hague District Court continues hearings on the 2014 crash of the Boeing MN-17 Malaysian Airlines. Today it became known that the prosecution presented an audio recording of the alleged negotiations. According to the Dutch prosecutor’s office, the motive is clearly reflected on the film: the rebels wanted to shoot down a Ukrainian plane. So, according to the Dutch, the suspects Leonid Kharchenko and Sergey Dubinsky discussed precisely the defeat of the Ukrainian military side by a missile. And in a call to the third person involved in the case – Oleg Pulatov – an allegedly short phrase was already reported: “Buk” shot down “Sushka” (Sukhoi Design Bureau military aircraft “Su” – “MK”).

However, the defense of the suspects immediately doubted the authenticity of the record. Lawyers point to possible gluing, to the manner of speech – in such negotiations the phrases sound too accurate, accentuated, as if someone had dictated them. Another version – the film was mounted. However, this remains to be proved. In the meantime, at the insistence of the Netherlands, this record will be attached to the case of the crash of the Malaysian Boeing MN-17 in the sky over the Donbass. This means that they will again try to blame Russia for the terrible air tragedy of 2014.

However, from a legal point of view, audio recording cannot be regarded as unconditional and irrefutable evidence. There is an assumption that the appearance of such an audio recording should cause more information resonance than really become a new fact in business.

This is confirmed by a military expert who took part in the investigation of plane crashes, Alexei Leonkov. He is confident that the prosecution will do everything to make Russia again look guilty of tragedy in one way or another.

Earlier, the Dutch lawyer of the accused Oleg Pulatov Sabine ten Dusskhate legally stated that Russia could be part of the investigation team in the case of the crash of the Malaysian Boeing MN-17. According to the defense, there are no legal contraindications to such a move in the lawsuit.
