In the context, Major General Muhammad Othman, Commander of the Red Sea Military Region, announced that the Red Sea State is devoid of members of the Rapid Support Forces, after implementing an elaborate plan through which the army forces were able to seize the headquarters of the Rapid Support Forces in the state.

The Gulf Cooperation Council welcomed the Saudi-American initiative to start preliminary talks between representatives of the Sudanese Armed Forces and representatives of the Rapid Support Forces.

The Secretary-General of the Council, Jassem Al-Budaiwi, appreciated the efforts and endeavors made by Saudi Arabia and the United States with all parties to prepare the necessary ground for dialogue and reduce the level of tension in a way that guarantees the security and stability of Sudan and its people and facilitates the delivery of humanitarian aid.

He expressed his hope that these talks would contribute to reaching a political solution that preserves the unity and cohesion of state institutions and achieves the aspirations of the Sudanese people.

The Kingdom of Bahrain also welcomed the Saudi-American initiative to start preliminary talks in the city of Jeddah between representatives of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces in the sisterly Republic of Sudan, to reach a cessation of military operations and an end to the conflict.

The Kingdom of Bahrain called on all parties in the Republic of Sudan to give priority to wisdom and serious commitment to stopping the bloodshed, providing protection for civilians and diplomats, facilitating the delivery of humanitarian aid to the affected areas, and completing the political framework agreement to reach a final agreement that meets the aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people for security, peace, stability, and political and economic progress. and social.
