Grupo Eulen welcomes 2 Aviron Bayonnais rowers.

The Basque-Spanish club Grupo Eulen announces the arrival of two runners from the Aviron Bayonnais Matéo Vierge and Quentin Ospital to strengthen their team of hopes in 2023.

This season, Matéo Vierge won a round of the Euskal Herria Tournament in Sodupe and the departmental junior title of the Atlantic Pyrenees. The 18-year-old rider finished 4th in Bayonne-Mouguerre, 4th in Puyoo and 9th at Klasika Beasain (Spanish national event).

Quentin Ospital was vice-departmental junior champion of the Pyrénées Atlantiques and finished 2nd in Mauléon-Osquich, 4th in Ibarra and 12th in the Tour of Pamplona.

They will try to follow the path of a former Aviron Bayonnais champion Patxi Darthayette who ran for two seasons with Grupo Eulen.
