Ghost of Tsushima debuted last month and so far it’s a bestseller and has made many players happy. But, can you imagine that this episode or a possible sequel had a multiplayer mode? While it seems difficult for that to happen, Sucker Punch isn’t closing the door on this possibility.

What we mean is that recently Venture Beat had the opportunity to interview members of Sucker Punch about Ghost of Tsushima. One of the psychic’s last questions was whether at any point in time they were considering implementing a multiplayer option in their latest project.

The answer to this question was given by Nate Fox, director of Ghost of Tsushima, who ensured that his priority was to develop the story. That said, it left the door open for Ghost of Tsushima to have multiplayer in the future.

“We were always focused on the story of Jin’s transformation. It’s an inherently solo experience. But who knows what the future holds? He said.

In case you missed it: Sony presented an award to its employees who were the fastest to win the game’s platinum trophy.

This does not confirm that Ghost of Tsushima will not have a multiplayer mode

It is important to note that these statements do not confirm that Ghost of Tsushima will have a multiplayer mode. It only leaves the door open to this possibility.

Also, it’s important to note that, at this time, it’s unclear whether Sucker Punch intends to release the DLC for Ghost of Tsushima. With that in mind, it’s highly likely that if multiplayer becomes a reality, we’ll see it in a possible sequel.
