Such is the fortune of ‘Harry Potter’ actor Daniel Radcliffe

Gilmore Jacobs, Radcliffe’s company, is now worth around £89.2 million (€106 million), including around £3.1 million in investment properties. In addition, some £41.3 million was invested in short-term investments. The accounts of the company, which is led by mother and father Radcliffe, show that the actor also has around 10.3 million pounds in cash. The actor himself owns just under half of the shares in the company.

The company was born in 2000, a year before the first film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was released. Although his parents are still in charge of Gilmore Jacobs, they have always emphasized that the money will only go to their son. For example, the then twelve-year-old actor earned more than 700,000 pounds on the first film.

“I was lucky enough to have it financially well at a young age,” the actor tells business magazine Forbes. “Obviously, when you’re that young, you don’t handle that money yourself. It’s too overwhelming.”
