Janne Andersson’s future in Blågult is uncertain.
However, the successful coach Henrik Rydström does not want to portray himself as a possible replacement.
“Feeling so incredibly well in MFF”, writes the Malmö FF coach to Fotbollskanalen.

Sweden has a minimal chance of reaching the European Championships in Germany next year and national team captain Janne Andersson is strongly questioned. However, Andersson, who has been in the post since 2016, insists on continuing until the agreement expires next summer.
This does not prevent speculation about Andersson’s replacement from gaining momentum. Among possible candidates for the national team captain’s job is Malmö FF’s Henrik Rydström, who previously enjoyed success in both IK Sirius and Kalmar FF.
The 47-year-old coach answers the Football Channel’s question about how he would have reacted if the Swedish Football Association had contacted him about the association captain’s job.
“Feel so incredibly well in MFF and to be a coach in MFF in particular”, writes Henrik Rydström in a text message.
“The national team solves Janne and Wettergren (Peter, assistant) in the best way”.
Rydström has an indefinite contract in MFF, which he has trained since 1 December last year.
