The sale of media conglomeration Waystar Royco to Lukas Mattsson (Aleksander Skarsgård) is one step closer in the new season.
In the fourth season of Succession the Roys are already anticipating the consequences of the sale of their family business and an internal power struggle seems inevitable, the American cable channel HBO hinted this week. For the family seems to be heading for a ‘future in which their cultural and political influence is considerably curtailed’. Filming for the fourth season recently started in New York and the whole family returns: Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Brian Cox, Sarah Snook and the rest. New faces will also be featured such as Fischer Stevens and Zoë Winters. The fourth season will consist of ten episodes coordinated as before by showrunner Jesse Armstrong.
