Antonio Rüdiger set to leave Chelsea
According to the newspaper sports picture, Antonio Ruediger had agreed with the management of Chelsea to renew his lease which expires on June 30. However, the sanctions imposed by the British government on the owner of the London club, Roman Abramovich, would have derailed the case.
Landed in July 2019 from AS Roma against a check for 35 million euros, the 29-year-old central defender is therefore heading straight for a departure from Chelsea. In search of a reinforcement of weight at this door in order to push Sergio Ramos to another destination, Paris Saint-Germain would already be in contact with the entourage of the German international.
But the capital club is not alone on the track leading to Thomas Tuchel’s protege. Moreover, another European cador is about to formalize the upcoming signing of Rüdiger.

Indeed, according to the information relayed this Saturday by The Gazzetta dello Sport, Antonio Ruediger will defend the colors of Juventus Turin from next season. Free to engage with the club of his choice since January 1, the player trained at Borussia Dortmund would have reached an agreement with the Old Lady on the basis of a four-year contract, i.e. until June 2026, with the key to a salary of 6.5 million euros per season.
The transalpine media explains that this operation was made possible thanks to the “Decreto Crescita”, tax advantages for players and lower salaries for clubs. Announced in the plans of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, Antonio Rüdiger would have made the choice of Juventus Turin and the Italian championship for the rest of his career.
Very bad news for Paris SG, which was counting on this move at 0 euros to get rid of Sergio Ramos at the end of the season.
