Ciudad Juárez.- This morning the third edition of the El Señor de la Misericordia Parish race was held, where with the intention of promoting physical activity, the good response from the community could be noted.
As it is a fundraising race, with the sale of the kits the ceilings of the rooms where catechism, conformations or courses are taught will be rehabilitated.
With a route of 3 and 6 kilometers, the participants received rosaries and prayers, at the end each runner was awarded a commemorative medal.
There was also the participation of older adults willing to walk and jog, earning good comments and admiration from the attendees.
The pets also made an appearance, and at the end of the tour, they received scarves and medals alluding to the celebration of the patron parish.
The masses will continue to be held as usual while the big carnival takes place in the parking lot until 9:00 pm this Sunday, so there will be sales of hamburgers, enchiladas, tacos, flautas, Menudo, birria, gorditas, agua fresh drinks, soft drinks and desserts.
The invitation is extended to the community in general to enjoy a family afternoon. Those interested can go to the intersection of Valentín Fuentes Avenue and Simona Barba Street.
