Simon explained, since he and Deputy Regent Kim Taolin were appointed to lead this area, they were faced with the seroja disaster and the Covid-19 pandemic. Even so, his party continues to carry out its work program that was announced through the last election campaign.
Specifically regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, Simon in the presence of the Deputy Chairman of the Malacca DPRD Hendrik Fahik, an element of the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkompimda), and the head of the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD), said that the government was continuing to disseminate prevention by asking residents to take vaccines and obey the rules. health protocol (prokes).
“Currently the vaccine continues to run, especially in schools. Here, TP PKK Malacca became the sponsor. Currently 37,918 doses have been given to Malacca residents,” he explained.
Previously, Simon told reporters that in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic situation, all parties must look at it holistically and thoroughly.
“It must be remembered, this disease cannot be lost. This is a kind of virus like the flu and can be infected by anyone,” he urged.
According to Simon, the point is that the vaccine program must be given because funds are recofusing to prevent the spread of Covid-19, so they must be used according to regulations so that they are not mismanaged.
He added, currently people are screaming hunger with the restrictions. This, said Simon, certainly cannot be ignored, but it is also necessary to find a solution so that residents can continue to try to make a living.
“In other countries there have been normative activities, and this is fine as long as people are made aware to continue to obey the prokes,” he explained.
For this reason, Simon appealed to residents to immediately follow the vaccination program. He emphasized that the vaccine is not dangerous.
“I’ve had two vaccines, and this strengthens the body’s immune system so that it stays strong. Always obey the prokes according to the government’s recommendations,” said Simon.
