Successful reopening of the Tenne Niederwölz

There has been a change of ownership at the Tenne Niederwölz, a bar with a tradition going back over 60 years. The new owners are Harald König (44), Ronald Weilharter (39), Stefan Hölzler (35) and Viktoria Kump (34). They are connected through business relationships and a close friendship. Now they want to breathe new life into the bar, after the discotheque has only been open rarely in recent years. The reason: “The many positive memories that we associate with the Tenne and the desire to continue this special place.” Or in other words: “The Tenne is simply cult!”

The new owners

Ronald Weilharter is the owner of the company RW Eventtechnik and brings his expertise in the field of event technology. Viktoria Kump, employed by the marketing consultancy IB Innovative Business GmbH in Katzling, is a graduate of the Salzburg tourism schools. Harald König runs the company ET König with three locations in Scheifling, Murau and Feldkirchen. And Stefan Hölzler is the managing director of Steron KG, known for Steron Pools.

The four friends have created another mainstay with the discotheque. Austropop and disco hits ensured a successful opening, and further events followed, such as the “Black & White Party” on September 14th. “The response to the opening was enormous,” say the owners, delighted with the successful start to a new era at the Tennen. The parties are also intended to get young and old to celebrate together again. “Unfortunately, that is becoming increasingly rare. But we want to celebrate like we used to – together across all generations.”

Fixed dates in autumn

Initially, the Tenne Niederwölz will open its doors once a month, but if the response is good, the offer could be expanded. Fixed dates such as the “Maxlaun Special” in October and the “Lederhos’n & Dirndl Party” in November are already planned. The Nightline Murtal is intended to ensure a safe return home.

No major renovation work was required for the new start: “Basically everything was there, we just had to make a few adaptations and breathe a little ‘love’ into the walls!” The project is also supported by a young, motivated team of waiters.
